Even worse, Thursday is Thanksgiving day so school is closed :''( I love thursdays!
How can three months go so fast, I just wonder... I've already had to start saying byes (note: just byes, not goodbyes) to some teachers this week, since there are different teachers almost every week on Limón classes. I love those classes! And I so admire those teachers. This week I had a new teacher, Dante Puleio, whom I for some reason imagined to be one of those elderly old school teachers (btw, their classes are super inspiring knowing that they've actually first handed worked with José Limón) and so I was surprised to see a current Limón Company member with perhaps the most contemporary style of all the teachers I've had here. The guy was intense! He had such enthusiasm that you just couldn't give anything less that 110%. I'm so glad I still have his class next week.
Just as well as I am waiting for it to be Monday morning (seriously? I hear you asking) so I can have another class with Connie Procopio. Such an inspiring teacher, who also really believes in me. That's something. Today also, I was talking with the Limón Program Manager Becky Brown about next years workshops and I'm so exited there might be something in Europe!
This Limón thing is just getting stronger and stronger in me. And I'm loving it.
As much as I want to continue training here, I'm still exited about other things to come. Yesterday I spent the whole day in New Jersey on an Outlet mall. Man that was exhausting! But I did manage to do a little christmas shopping. So I'm happy! And yes, I am looking forward to seeing snow and then going inside to hide from the cold. To light some candles and listen to some christmas music, and to drink glögi and eat ginger breads. I've listened to some christmas songs but it's just not the same. First of all, where's the snow? Secondly, I don't have a window! So even if there was snow I couldn't stay in my room, under my blanket, looking out to the cold wintery view... And ofcourse I'm waiting to see all you guys.
However, before that I'm just gonna go further away from snow. I know I'm gonna have a busy week taking as many classes as I can, so I just started packing! My brand new rolling duffel bag is filled with bikinis, shorts and little dresses, just waiting to get to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Aah. Oh and yes, there's a bunch of books for my thesis in the bag as well.
In the end I'll just add a few (bad quality) pictures of a pretty spectacular view from downtown Manhattan.
The World Trade Center and me. Or at least our heads.
Inana ootella sua jo tänne. Ja luntakin, tuo se mukanas, pliis;)
